The only city centre hotel with two wonderful restaurants on its premises this 16th century Hotel is happily situated within Canterbury's historic city walls just across the road from the magnificent Marlowe Theatre. In a perfect location for all of the local tourist attractions and one of England's finest sights Canterbury Cathedral is a mere two minute walk away. Being in the heart of the city means we are only a stone's throw away from all of the shops restaurants and bars. Being tucked away just off the High St means our rooms are quieter than most other city hotels. But if you don't want to travel too far we have a traditional English restaurant and a French Brasserie on the ground floor of the hotel. We also have private dining facilities available. It is also only a 10 minute walk from Canterbury West station allowing for easy access to all the surrounding areas and a 50 minute train journey into London. Pilgrims Hotel itself is filled with historic architecture and character as well as all the modern necessities you would expect including free wifi TV and radio tea and coffee making facilities in every room. Pilgrims also houses two very popular restaurants and a traditional low beamed English bar with real local ales. The Hotel has a wide selection of rooms ranging from a single to a family room. So whether you are travelling for business on a romantic get away or a family holiday there is something that is bound to suit your needs. There is also discounted parking tickets available to those that have travelled by car.
